Through exploring, stories, crafts, and adventure, children are supported to develop a stronger connection to themselves, the natural world, and their community. Skills introduced include plant identification, animal tracking, shelter building, fire safety, bird identification, storytelling, and hazard awareness. 

​

Enrollment requirements for Homeschool Tuesday or Thursday:

​​

• Age: 6-12

• Because we learn in an outdoor classroom without walls, children must be able to stay with the group and follow instructions most of the time.

• Children must show respect towards peers, teachers, nature, and the church property.

Enrollment requirements for Homeschool Wilderness Skills:

• Age: 11-13

• Students must be able to stay with the group and follow the instruction in an outdoor environment

• Students must show respect towards peers, teachers, nature, and church property.
