The last week is a makeup week.

Play is the work of the preschool age child. At Nature Connect we foster a child’s sense of wonder and play through games, songs and stories. Each day has a theme that explores the natural world through movement, play and curiosity. Crafts using materials found in the woods help to develop fine motor skills and an appreciation for our natural resources. Children are also introduced to plant, animal, and bird identification through stories and direct observation. Tuition:
1 day - $130/month or $630 upfront.
2 days - $260/month or $1260 upfront.

Skills introduced include plant identification, animal tracking, shelter building, fire safety, bird identification, knife safety and woodcarving, storytelling, and hazard awareness. Our after school program offers children a fun and adventurous complement to their busy, structured school day. Through games, nature crafts, stories, and exploration, children are supported to develop meaningful friendships and an appreciation of the outdoors. Skills introduced include plant identification, animal tracking, shelter building, bird calls and identification, storytelling, and hazard awareness. Our Forest Families program is an opportunity for families to explore and learn about our local environment in a meaningful way. With a focus on play and sensory activities for the children and plant/animal knowledge for the parents, we strive to make this program fun and interesting for the whole family.
